Country Singer Daryle Singletary Dead at 46

The country music community is in mourning today as the passing of one of its own members spread through the news. Daryle Singletary, who is most well known for his 90’s hit “Too Much Fun” passed away this morning from an apparent blood clot.

Born in Cairo, Georgia, Singletary wrote many songs, and recorded many demos, including “An Old Pair of Shoes” which was recorded by legendary singer Randy Travis. With the help of Travis and his management team, Singletary was signed to his first record deal with Giant Records.

Singletary is survived by his wife of five years, Holley Mercer.

On behalf of Vizion Magazine, I extend my deepest condolences to Daryle’s entire family.
